Maybe SUSE 10 will work on MS better?

Spent two weeks with VMware support trying to fix a issue with VMware Tools breaking the network config on SUSE 10 SP1. Maybe running on Hyper V will work out of the box. I love VMware but that was a bad two weeks. Thanks for the update.

It might be more than two weeks with MS

Hi,

In reply to TSD Boston, I believe it might take you more than two weeks to figure out how fix SUSE 10 SP1 with an acceptable performance on Hyper-V. It require you much more work than what VMware require you to do. Look at the following article which show how to Install SUSE Linux 10 SP1 on Hyper-V with acceptable performance.  I hope you look at the article and evaluate what you are going to face before jumping into that boat as I did.

Enjoy,
